Building of Eumachia
This massive building, located on the eastern side of the Forum, was built by the priestess of Venus Eumachia, probably around 22 BC, in Tiberian times. The building was dedicated to Livia Drusilla, mother of the Emperor Tiberius, and probably housed the wool market and some warehouses.
